Privacy policy
What we collect, why, who else touches it, and how to get it deleted. We collect as little as the work allows.
Version 1.0 · Last updated 24 July 2026
This policy explains how DIGIOLIO LLC(“Digiolio”, “we”) handles personal information collected through digioliollc.com. We are the data controller for that information.
What we collect
When you contact us
- Your name and email address
- Your business name and website, if you provide them
- The content of your message
When you place an order
- Your name, email address, and business name
- Your website URL and, for local packages, your business profile URL
- Your business category and the area you serve
- Your website platform and your objectives for the work
- Any notes you choose to add
We never collect card details. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on their own checkout pages. We receive confirmation that a payment occurred, not your card number.
We do not ask for passwords. Where access to your site is needed, it is granted through an account invitation you control and can revoke.
Automatically
Our host records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and reliability. We use your IP address transiently to rate-limit form submissions, which prevents abuse.
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and carries no advertising trackers. Cloudflare Turnstile, used to keep bots out of our forms, may set a short-lived token strictly for that purpose.
Why we use it
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry | Legitimate interests, or steps prior to a contract |
| Delivering the service you bought | Performance of a contract |
| Keeping records of orders, invoices, and refunds | Legal obligation |
| Preventing spam and abuse of our forms | Legitimate interests |
We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it for advertising. We do not send marketing email unless you have asked for it, and we currently do not send any.
Who else processes it
We use a small number of service providers, each with access only to what their function requires:
| Provider | Role |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing. Stripe is the controller of your payment data under its own privacy policy. |
| Resend | Delivering transactional email — your enquiry and order confirmations. |
| Vercel | Website hosting and server logs. |
| Cloudflare | DNS, and the Turnstile check that keeps bots out of our forms. |
| Upstash | Short-lived rate-limit counters keyed to IP address. |
We may also disclose information where required by law, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
International transfers
DIGIOLIO LLC is registered in Wyoming, United States, and is operated remotely. Our service providers process data in the United States and other countries, so your information may be transferred and stored outside the country you live in. Where information is transferred out of the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, our providers rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to an order: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Order and project information: for the duration of the engagement, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting rules require us to keep business records — currently up to seven years.
- Server logs: held by our hosting and security providers under their own retention schedules. These are their systems, not ours, so we do not promise a period we cannot enforce; the current schedules are published by Vercel and Cloudflare.
- Rate-limit counters: minutes, then discarded automatically.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. Form submissions are validated on the server, rate-limited, and protected by a bot check. Secrets are held in server-side environment variables and are never exposed to the browser. Access to order information is limited to the person performing the work.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affecting your information occurs, we will notify you and any relevant regulator as required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format, or complain to a supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may need to retain records we are legally required to keep.
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.
Children
Our services are sold to businesses and are not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We will update this policy when our practices change. The version and date at the top of this page identify the current text. Material changes will be communicated to active clients by email.
